With our goal in mind at answering best our member's concrete proposals, we have set up:

- TWO TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP: A SIMPLE ARIR MEMBERSHIP AND A JOINT ARIR-AIPO MEMBERSHIP;

- A WIDER RANGE OF SERVICES FOR MEMBERS;

- THE OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE NOT ONLY YOUR PROFESSIONAL BUT ALSO YOUR CULTURAL GROWTH;

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

Because of our affiliation to AIPO (Associazione Italiana Pneumologi Ospedalieri), we can offer our members the chance to be simultaneously affiliated with AIPO as well, so that the ARIR-AIPO member can benefit from a wider range of services. For those who are not interested in this proposal, there’s the chance to join or to renew the simple ARIR membership, with all the services listed below. Membership fees are also listed below. Simple ARIR or combined ARIR-AIPO membership. Both agreements last 12 months, with effect upon subscription.

SIMPLE MEMBERSHIP With this type of subscription, the ARIR member has access to the following services: 1. Free mailing of “Rivista Italiana di Fisioterapia e Riabilitazione Respiratoria” out every four months 2. Free mailing of “Selezione ARIR da RESPIRATORY CARE e AARC TIMES” out every six months 3. The possibility to access the MEMBERS AREA using a user id and password, in which you will find: • Full version of all the past issues (.pdf) of ARIR BULLETIN, of “Rivista Italiana di Fisioterapia e Riabilitazione Respiratoria” and of “Selezione ARIR da RESPIRATORY CARE e AARC TIMES”; • Educational material in electronic size (video, slides and images); • Slides (.pdf) of some events organized by the Association; 4. Discount on all ARIR courses; 5. Free attendance to the “ARIR Day”, where a different topic will be discussed every year.

THE ARIR-AIPO MEMBERSHIP With this kind of subscription, an ARIR member can benefit from affiliation between ARIR and AIPO (Associazione Italiana Pneumologi Ospedalieri), becoming at the same time an ARIR member and affiliated to AIPO. This membership gives the ARIR member same benefits and services of the simple membership with the addition of: 1. Full access to the AIPO website, all within membership time, through a user id and password, that the AIPO Secretary will give you directly; here you can look up and download the “RASSEGNA DI PATOLOGIA DELL’APPARATO RESPIRATORIO” out twice a year; 2. Discount for the cultural activities organized by AIPO, relevant for physiotherapists.

N.B. The Arir-Aipo Membership does not consent the use of all the benefits offered by AIPO membership itself. Further information on www.aiponet.it

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

Our Association promotes several activities aimed at professional training and scientific updating, and we are pleased to welcome members who wish to collaborate actively with us and embrace the Arir Project. An Arir Member can choose among the following fields of the associative life:

• “Rivista Italiana di Fisioterapia e Riabilitazione Respiratoria”
• Website www.arirassociazione.org
• Scientific research
• Collaboration on courses and workshops organized by ARIR
• Secretarial activity
• Translation of scientific works from/into foreign languages
