XI INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON LUNG HEALTH – New Scenarios

Dear Colleagues,
We are honoured to invite you to the XI Edition of the International Workshop on Lung Health, taking place – from January 18 to January 20, 2024 – in the amazing frame of Seville (Spain), with its marvellous background of culture and history, combined with the opening tension to future challenges. The fil rouge of the XI International Workshop on Lung Health has been defined: “New Scenarios” is the main theme which embraces sessions, lectures, and symposia. In the last year and half, in the post-COVID era, many interesting news, opportunities and challenges crossed the door of the respiratory world. During the 3 Workshop days we would face all the major and outbreaking topics of Respiratory Medicine: from Asthma and COPD to Respiratory Infections, reaching also the Interstitial and Rare Diseases, focusing on the most recent updates and perspectives, in terms of clinical advances and research outcomes. More time will be devoted to discussion, interaction, and contribution from the audience with the reconfirmation of the following formats:
▪ The Rising Stars Programme will give the opportunity to young clinicians and researchers worldwide to present their valuable work for the first time in front of an international audience and get suggestions from the faculty members.
▪ The Future Health Leaders Mentoring Programme (FuHeL) will welcome 10 – 12 selected early carrier researchers and clinicians who will be accompanied during the whole congress experience on a “career mentoring” by 3 mentors of excellence.
▪ Abstract Calls and on-site sessions discussion will give the opportunity to attendees to share projects and results of the most recent crucial world challenges in the Respiratory and related fields.
Due to the emerging news and updates focused on Respiratory Rare Diseases, we retain of crucial relevance to stimulate especially young researchers and clinicians to present original scientific paper on these areas. An Oral Communication Session on Saturday Morning will be focused on the mentioned theme.
We invite you all to contribute to the success of the next IWLH edition, submitting papers to the Workshop Calls, sending any kind of suggestions and inputs and – of course – joining us in Seville!
